"Class Not Registered" error in SAGE Workplace Windows app

Issue:

You receive an error stating "Class Not Registered" when using SAGE Workplace Windows app.  Particularly when trying to use the presentation feature or viewing a picture.

Reinstall SAGE Workplace Windows app

Solution 2

If reinstalling fails to resolve the issue:

Click Start | Run, type the following line, then press Enter (include the quotes and see note regarding Vista in More Info below):

regsvr32 "c:\program files\sage\SAGE Workplace Windows app\imact33.ocx" 

You should see a message stating: "DllRegisterServer in c:\program files\sage\SAGE Workplace Windows app\imact33.ocx succeeded".  Just click OK.

Re-start SAGE Workplace Windows app and it should work normally.

More Information:

By default Windows Vista hides the "Run" option.

You may restore it by following the instructions here:  Restore the "Run" menu in Windows Vista, or alternatively type the command in to the Vista Instant Search box.  See http://www.microsoft.com/windows/products/windowsvista/features/details/instantsearch.mspx for more information about the Vista Instant Search feature.
